February 2021

This month’s lyric video is a bit of a story about an old friend who passed away in 2004. Charlie Frizzell was a photographer and Renaissance Man who married my best friend Polly way back in 1975. He was part of the early folk scene in Cambridge and migrated to Berkeley in the late 60s.

It took a long time to write this song because there was a lot of deep emotion wrapped up in the process. I put it on Songs From the Third Act, and now here’s a lyric video that I’ve been wanting to do for awhile.

Charlie’s work is archived here.
