August 2021

My birth month has come around again, which always brings pause for reflection. I sat for this session with Robert Keziere sometime in the summer of 1973, the same year this sun-kissed hippie girl wrote Pinto Pony, about an outlaw and a horse.

It’s been recorded a number of different ways over the years, but this stripped-down version is how I play it lately. It’s aging a bit like me, a little older, a little slower, but still with stories to tell.
