My friend Katrina Kadoski organized a positively transcendent musical evening with her trio The Edgedwellers plus Ellen Cherry and Andrew Grimm who came all the way from Baltimore to share their gorgeous music with us. Picked up both their CDs on the way out the door, and I’m blown away by the cinematic quality of their writing and performing, together and solo.

Had the opportunity to do some showcasing and networking at BC Touring Council‘s On the Road 2.0 workshop this month. It’s been awhile since I had the time to attend an event like this, and I came away with some new friends and lots of new ideas, tips, and tricks. Thanks to the travel subsidy I got a free hotel room, so there’s a nice bonus!
Twitter tells me that the CD is getting some spins on Kansas Public Radio. I love these, they make my day!
