And just like that… summer’s almost over and we slide into a different season. Fall has always been one of my favourites for travelling, but not this year.
I finally sat down and wrote out some of the emotions I’ve been sitting with, around a title/refrain I’ve been carrying around for years. Everyone is struggling to cope with heading into the long dark tunnel this winter promises to be. I think I’ll just wallow in this inertia and focus on the light at the end.
These Four Walls is out on YouTube in rough demo form. It will be going onto a new album as soon as I can get back into the studio with some of my East Coast friends.
