November 2020

November means Remembrance to me. Especially remembering Corporal Nathan Cirillo, who died in the line of duty in 2014 during a terrorist attack on the Canadian National War Memorial in Ottawa. He left behind a family. The pictures of his son Marco wearing the regalia of his father’s regiment at the funeral will always be with me as a reminder of the collateral damage of war and terrorism.

21 Guns is the song I wrote about it. Lest we forget the untold sacrifice of those who came before.
